Lita Rossana Ford was born in England and is a British American singer, guitarist and writer. Lita Ford played as the lead guitarist of The All-Girl Hard Rock Group, The Runaways. The band was never able to the band to be popular in the US, but they gained much popularity throughout the world, especially Japan. Ford started a heavy metal solo career after the group broke up in 1979. She started taking voice classes shortly after releasing her debut album , 'Dancin' On the Edge'. Ford vanished for some years from the world of rock after the release of the two albums. Her smashing album, 'Lita" which came out in 1988 brought her back with a bang. It was a big hit for both the song "Kiss Me Deadly," and the ballad , 'Close My Eyes forever. Unfortunately, the success of her career was short, and for many years she was not in the entertainment industry. Her return came with the release of "Black" in 1995 and 'Wicked Wonderland' almost fifteen years after. Her most recent album, Time Capsule was released in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
